Wingman Cards Rock Out at Nectar Bar with MJ and Prince

They all partied at Nectar Bar last night. Nectar bar, a big music venue in Fremont (in Seattle, WA), held an all Michael Jackson and Prince music night last night and Wingman Cards were posted up at the bar for people to grab and use. All classic MJ and Prince songs played all night with at least four hundred people and a two to one ratio of females to males tearing up the dance floor.  Two Wingman displays with free cards were posted on the main bar for people to grab and over a hundred and fifty cards to used, passed out, and taken for later.

It was a great night and everyone was going nuts over all of Michael Jackson’s song because of his recent death. There were people dressed in full MJ costumes, white gloves, and lots of MJ hats. To add to the music, videos of both artists were playing on all the tv screens and the place was bumping to say the least. If you missed it, don’t worry, Nectar has this MJ and Prince night every seven weeks so check their

On that note, you haven’t checked out Nectar Bar it’s got great music and the outdoor patio and inside dance floor makes it a killer spot to dance up a storm then chill outside with some fresh air.

And if you happened to grab a Wingman Card last night let me know how it went. I’d love to hear some stories (brett (at) wingmancard.com). In the meantime, enjoy this tribute the late, great MJ.

Reason # 1 Why You Should Use a Wingman Card

To save money

My buddy Sam called me this morning to talk about his weekend. He went out to a bar in Ballard and noticed a lady giving him the, “crazy eyes”, or repeated gliares from across the room. He was so confident that she was interested that he decided NOT to use a Wingman Card (bad idea).

The approach went smoothly, the conversation was going well, and she seemed generally into him. He did find it strange that she dropped this comment early on, “Well, aren’t you going to buy me a drink?” He complied and ended up talking to her for forty minutes and buying her two drinks, which came to $15. After he bought the second round she saw a guy she knew and told Sam to, “hold on a second” then walked away only to never return. What happened?

Unfortunately, I told Sam, she either:

1) Found you initially attractive but you said something (probably because you were intoxicated) that she didn’t like and decided you no longer had a chance. But she wanted free drinks so she let you buy her two rounds before making a quick exit.

Or

2) She wasn’t interested from the beginning but wanted you to buy her drinks so she didn’t have to pay (sad, but this actually happens).

If #1 was true, which is more likely the case considering the crazy eyes, if Sam had used a Wingman Card he would have save $14, spent those 40 minutes enjoying time with his buddies, and would be receiving a message online from this lady today.

If #2 was the case, then he would have also save $14 and 40 minutes and not felt crappy the rest of the night had he used a Wingman Card.

Moral of the story is by using a Wingman Card you save money, save time, eliminate getting awkwardly rejected, and have a better chance of getting a follow up date. Done and done.

Ps. Here’s a little text from a blog “Texts from Last Night” that reaffirms that this happens.

“(503): I’m sitting next to this guy at the bar. I wrote him a little song in my head it goes “there is no chance you’re getting in my pants” gonna sing it to him after he buys me another drink.”
